Luíza Fazio is a Brazilian screenwriter recognized in the Forbes Brazil 30 Under 30 list as a distinct talent within her field.

Fazio wrote Sintonia (Netflix Brazil), the most-watched TV-show on the platform. A former journalist, she perfected her screenwriting education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Professional Program in Writing for Television.

In her journey as a screenwriter, she wrote Invisible City (season 2 / Netflix), created by Carlos Saldanha (Oscar-nominated director); Back To Fifteen (season 3 / Netflix), starring Brazilian superstar Maisa; Benefits With Friends (season 1 / Disney and Hulu), starring Bruna Marquezine (Blue Beetle); among other works for players such as Amazon, Globoplay and Warner.

After a nomination by the U.S. Embassy in Brazil, Luíza attended the prestigious artistic residency International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa, which since 1967 reunites yearly 35 writers from all over the world.

At the age of 16, Luíza published O Laboratório do Escritor (The Writer’s Lab / 2010), a short story collection funded by the São Paulo State Department of Culture.
